About Horizon Car Wash

Horizon Car Wash is one of the car washes listed in Syracuse, New York. The business is registered at 203 S Bay Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In Syracuse, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across New York, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Syracuse keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. You can reach Horizon Car Wash at (315) 458-1740; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 117 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for car washes in Syracuse. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Syracuse follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

First and last time visiting this car wash. I brought my Nissan Z to this car wash today approximately an hour ago to wash it, but was instead harassed and threatened by an elderly man claiming to be the owner of the car wash. This man tried to force me to leave, stating that I "need to leave immediately" and that I am "never allowed back" at "his" car wash, and only left me alone once I stated I would be calling the police. He stole my pile of microfiber cloths before he left as well, which I can only assume was some attempt to get me to stop washing my car (not realizing I keep a 30 pack in my trunk because I wash my car once a week). I am unsure whether or not this man truly is the owner of the wash, but either way I will be bringing my money to another wash where I do not have to threaten random old men with harassment charges in order to get my car washed. The property itself is quite nice and well maintained, but unfortunately is not worth the hassle.

Great car wash if you pay cash one of the best deals in town. If you use a credit card they will temporarily charge you more, within a day or two, it will show the actual charge. Highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this car wash. I noticed that right now a repair or renovation is happening of the touch-free drive-thru bay I always use for our vehicles. Hoping it is up and running soon! I went to a car wash I have never used before about a half-mile away because my vehicles needed washing and it was terrible! Didn’t get change back from the machine when I paid and when I exited their bay, my car looked as dirty as it had when I pulled in! Never again…Sticking with Horizon!

Very clean car wash and good chemicals too. My truck was covered in sap from a maple tree- and the birds in it also left me presents. Was able to get all of it removed and for a reasonable cost as well. Convenient that they take cards in the wash bays as well. Only minor issue is it’s a right parking lot so getting a one ton dual rear wheel truck in and out was tight but manageable. Highly recommend this car wash!!
